This Aqua-Flo FMHP wet end assembly is a factory-complete replacement unit designed for 1.5HP spa pump applications. The wet end features 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" plumbing connections (thread diameter measures approximately 2 3/8" across) with side discharge configuration compatible with 48 frame motors.

Motor Compatibility Specifications: This wet end pairs with 48 frame motors rated at approximately 9.0 Amps high speed on 230V systems or approximately 14 Amps on 115V systems. Compatible with both single-speed and dual-speed motor configurations. The discharge outlet can be repositioned in 90-degree increments to accommodate various installation requirements.

Complete Assembly Includes: volute housing, pump seal, impeller, wear ring, suction cover, suction cover o-ring, drain plug, drain plug o-ring, and all necessary suction cover mounting screws.

Important Sizing Information: Always select wet end horsepower based on your motor's amperage rating. 48 frame motors measure approximately 5 1/2" diameter and feature 1/4" thru-bolt heads with approximately 5 3/16" spacing between bolts (cross pattern measurement). By comparison, 56 frame motors measure approximately 6 1/4" diameter with 5/16" thru-bolt heads and approximately 5 7/8" bolt spacing in cross pattern.

Compatible Replacement Seal: PS-200 shaft seal for 5/8" shaft, Buna material, fits Aqua-Flo wet ends and similar applications.
