This is a fully assembled 2.5HP Aqua-Flo wet end designed for XP2 pump systems, featuring 2" x 2" plumbing connections (approximately 3" measured across threads) with side discharge configuration. Engineered specifically for 48 frame motors rated at approximately 11.0 Amps on high speed at 230V operation. Not compatible with 115V motors. Works with both single speed and dual speed motor configurations.

The discharge orientation can be adjusted by rotating the wet end 90 degrees to suit your installation requirements. This complete assembly arrives ready to install and includes all essential components: volute housing, mechanical seal, impeller, wear ring, suction cover with o-ring, drain plug with o-ring, and mounting screws for the suction cover.

Optional Barb Fittings for Wet End Face Connections:
For installations requiring small hose connections to the front face of the wet end, consider these barb adapter options at 3/8"b x 1/4"mpt sizing (compatible with Aqua-Flo and CMP designs). These fittings work best when sealed with silicone rather than standard pipe tape.

Important Selection Guidelines: Always select wet end horsepower based on your motor's amperage rating. Reference: 48 frame motors measure approximately 5 1/2" across the body, feature 1/4" hex heads on through-bolts, and have roughly 5 3/16" spacing between through-bolts (measured diagonally). By comparison, 56 frame motors measure about 6 1/4" across with 5/16" hex bolt heads and approximately 5 7/8" through-bolt spacing in cross pattern.
