This component is a full assembly 3HP Aqua-Flo 2" x 2" (approximately 3" thread diameter) side discharge 48 frame wet end designed for XP2 pump systems. Compatible with 48 frame motors rated at approximately 12.0 Amps high speed operation on 230V motors - not compatible with 115v motors. Works with both single speed and dual speed motor configurations. Discharge orientation can be rotated 90 degrees for flexible installation. This full wet end assembly contains: volute housing, seal assembly, impeller, wear ring, suction cover, suction cover o-ring, drain plug with o-ring, and all necessary suction cover mounting screws.

For installations requiring a barb fitting on the wet end face for small hose connections, barb options are available with or without sealant. We recommend sealing these connections with silicone as pipe tape does not perform reliably on these particular fittings:

Important: Always select horsepower based on your motor's amperage rating - refer to the chart provided. A 48 frame motor has an approximate 5 1/2" diameter with 1/4" thru-bolt heads and roughly 5 3/16" thru-bolt spacing in cross pattern, while a 56 frame motor measures approximately 6 1/4" diameter with 5/16" thru-bolt heads and about 5 7/8" thru-bolt spacing.
