This component is a Complete 1.5HP Aqua-Flo 2" x 2" (approximately 3" across threads) side discharge 48 frame wet end assembly designed for XP2 pump systems. This wet end assembly pairs with a 48 frame motor rated at approximately 9.0 Amps on High Speed for 230V motors or 13.0 Amps High Speed for 115V motors using 1/4" thru-bolt configuration. Compatible with both single and dual speed motors. Features 90-degree rotational capability for flexible discharge positioning. This full wet end kit contains: volute housing, seal assembly, impeller, wear ring, suction cover, suction cover o-ring, drain plug, drain plug o-ring and all suction cover mounting screws.

For installations requiring a barb connection on the wet end face for small hose attachment, consider these barb adapter options with or without sealant. Silicon sealant is recommended for these fittings as pipe tape does not provide adequate sealing:

Important: Always select HP rating based on your motor's amperage reading per the reference chart below. A 48 frame motor typically measures approximately 5 1/2" across the motor body, features 1/4" thru-bolt heads, and measures roughly 5 3/16" between thru-bolts in cross pattern. A 56 frame motor measures approximately 6 1/4" across the motor body, features 5/16" thru-bolt heads, and measures roughly 5 7/8" between thru-bolts in cross pattern.
