This part is a 1-1/2" Pump Split Nut Kit which includes a split nut and (2) screws to assemble it. 

Used in hot tubs to do an emergency pump union repair instead of replacing the pump union and all other glued in parts. 

The Pump Union Split Nut measures about 2 7/8" on the outside and about 2-1/4" ID and mounts to the existing Pump Union Body using 2 screws to hold it in place. If your pumps male union threads measure about 2-3/8" across then this is the correct part for you. Will not fit Hayward or Jacuzzi J-Pump (swivel) unions. 

To install this repair kit you will have to remove the old broken pump union flange nut. This nut can be cut off with a hack saw blade or some cutting pliers if the nut is split enough. Be careful not to cut the pump union body when cutting the nut off because you will reuse the body. See our video below for helpful tips!
