This protective slinger component sits positioned between your pump's impeller assembly and the motor shaft bearing compartment. Its purpose is to deflect moisture away from the bearing should a seal failure occur at the wet end connection.
Installation Note: This component must be fitted onto the motor shaft prior to mounting the wet end volute assembly. While not mandatory for pump operation, this slinger can significantly extend the service life of your motor's front bearing by providing an additional moisture barrier.
Compatible with WaterWay Hi-Flo, Mustang, and Executive pump series.
