This generic vacuum safety switch is designed for installation on the suction side of Cal Spa pumps, providing critical protection against entrapment hazards. The switch monitors vacuum pressure and automatically shuts down the pump when excessive suction is detected.
Safety Operation
Engineered as a normally open switch, this device closes its circuit when dangerous vacuum levels occur on the pump's suction side. In the event someone becomes trapped against a suction fitting, the switch activates immediately, cutting power to the pump and releasing the vacuum hold. This life-saving feature allows the individual to safely break free from the suction.
