Aquatemp Products Heater Uni-Nut® Retainer
This patented single-piece design eliminates the common problem of leaking split nuts found on spa heaters. The Uni-Nut® features hand-tightenable convenience and field-serviceable replacement through a removable color-coded retainer system. Black retainers typically fit 1-5/8" tubes, blue retainers work with 5.5kW heater units, and red retainers indicate other wattage specifications. Please note that while exceptions exist, the Uni-Nut® typically cannot substitute for split nuts because of differing flange dimensions. This 2" retainer fits 2-1/4" housings.
