Aquatemp Products Heater Uni-Nut®
This innovative patented design eliminates the common problem of leaking split nuts found on spa heaters. The Uni-Nut® features a revolutionary one-piece construction that allows for easy hand-tightening and field replacement through a removable color-coded retainer system. Color-coding includes black retainers typically paired with 1-5/8" tubes, blue retainers commonly found on 5.5kW heater models, and red retainers that usually indicate alternative wattage configurations. Please note that while some exceptions exist, the Uni-Nut® typically cannot replace split nuts due to variations in flange dimensions. This unit is designed for 2-1/2"mbt connections on 3" housings and ships without retainer included.
