The PS-3865 represents a premium Viton Carbon Graphite upgrade to the standard PS-1000 seal design. Engineered specifically for Waterway brand wet end assemblies in hot tub and spa circulation systems.

IMPORTANT: Not compatible with Waterway Viper or EX2 wet end models.

Precise dimensions: Spring seal back measures 1 3/8" diameter for volute insertion, while the ceramic and rubber component measures 1 1/4" for impeller installation. Center bore diameter on both components: approximately 5/8".

Compatible wet end models include: Waterway Executive, Hi-Flo, Spa Flo, Iron Might, 1 1/2" Center Discharge, E Series, and Workman pump assemblies. Installation tip: Apply silicone sealant to the metal component's rear surface and press into position using a 1" coupler as an installation tool. A thin silicone coating helps the rubber portion slide smoothly into the impeller.

Service note: Leaking seals typically indicate impeller damage, as moisture penetrates the metal shaft housing causing expansion and component failure. Additional compatibility note: This seal is not designed for Waterway 2 1/2" Viper wet ends, which require PS-200 seal specification.
