5.5kW Incoloy Flow-Through Heating Element with Center Mount Configuration for 115V or 230V Hot Tub Systems

This heating element features a center mount design, meaning the electrode holes are positioned in the middle of the tube rather than offset to either side. This configuration is uncommon but essential for specific spa models requiring this exact layout.

Key Specifications:

  • Power Output: 5.5kW
  • Voltage: Compatible with both 115V and 230V applications
  • Length: 10 inches
  • Terminal Position: Middle/Center mount
  • Material: Incoloy construction for superior durability
  • Includes integrated pressure switch

Troubleshooting Guide:

If your heater trips the circuit breaker during testing, unplug the unit. If the breaker remains on when plugged back in but trips again, the element is faulty. For non-breaker issues, use an Ohm meter across the two terminals - a proper reading should show approximately 10.5K ohms. A reading of 0K indicates an open element. If the breaker doesn't trip and the element tests normal, investigate other potential causes such as a faulty pressure switch, clogged filter, insufficient water flow, or control board circuit problems.

The pressure switch included with this heater can cause no-heat conditions and is available as a separate replacement component if needed.

A 4.0kW version of this center mount element is also available for lower wattage requirements.
