The Hayward Union Adapter Assembly is no longer available
With this adapter you can convert the old style Hayward 2" Thin Threaded Union to a 1 1/2" threaded fitting which = 1 7/8" O.D. standard wet end.
Note: The Hayward thin threaded pump union looks sisliar to and measures really close to a statrd 2" standard threaded union the difference is the really thin tight threads and the Hayward union is slightly smaller than the standard threads which measure about 3" insode the union or acorss the threads. The Hayward measures about 2 15/16".
This is not that Adapter Converts any standard union thread to the larger Hayward union thread. This allows the installation of any pump wet end with standard union threads into a Hayward application.
