This part is a (BEST) Silicon Carbide Salt Resistant Verison of a PS-1000 Seal.

NOTE: This Seal does not fit a Waterway Viper or EX2 Wet End..

Silicon Carbide’s exceptional wear and chemical resistance, enhanced dry running capability and high hardness means it is an excellent choice for aggressive, corrosive and high temperature environments.

 This Seal is used Primarily in Waterway Brand Wet Ends. It is 1 3/8" Across the back of the Spring Seal part that goes into the volute or wetend back and the Ceramic & Rubber part that goes into the impeller is 1 1/4". The Hole in both parts is about 5/8". Note: This Seal Fits Waterway Executive, Hi-Flo, Spa Flo, Iron Might, 1 1/2" Center Discharge, E Series and Workman Pump Wet Ends To Install you should put silicon sealant on the back of the Metal part and gently push it into place with a 1" coupler as the push tool. Also the rubber part can use a light coat of silicon to slide it into place in the impeller. Choose with care, I Do Not accept returns so be sure these are correct before ordering! Please note: When you have a seal leaking in most cases you will need an impellor because the leak caused water to get into the metal shaft area that the impeller is screwed onto and expands and damages the impellor.
