The PS-3868 Seal Kit represents a premium Viton Carbon Graphite enhancement over the standard PS-201 seal, engineered specifically for Vico and Sta-Rite wet ends. This professional-grade seal assembly measures 1 3/8 inches across both the spring seal component (mounts to impeller) and the ceramic and rubber component (installs in volute/wet end). Both pieces feature approximately 3/4 inch center holes for proper shaft fitment. Compatible with Sta-Rite, Vico, and most Cal Spa pumps, including Power Right models.

Installation Guidelines: Apply silicone sealant to the impeller shaft before carefully pressing the spring seal component into position. The ceramic and rubber portion benefits from a thin silicone coating to facilitate smooth insertion into the volute or wet end housing.

Important Service Note: Seal failures typically allow water infiltration into the metal shaft housing where the impeller mounts. This moisture penetration commonly causes expansion damage to the impeller, meaning impeller replacement is usually necessary when addressing seal leaks.
