This Del Ozone check valve prevents water backflow into your spa's ozonator system while permitting ozone gas to flow freely through the sanitization circuit.
How It Functions: The valve installs inline on tubing connected to a jet, nebulizer, or mazzie injector on the suction/air side. When your circulation pump activates, suction pulls the valve open, drawing ozone gas from the ozonator into the water stream. When the pump shuts off, the valve closes to block water from traveling backward into the ozonator unit.
Testing Your Valve: To verify proper operation, turn off the pump and inspect for water seepage through the check valve or moisture inside the ozonator housing. Either condition indicates valve failure requiring replacement.
Important Safety Note: A failed check valve may trigger GFCI breaker trips in properly wired systems, or potentially cause electrical current in the water if GFCI protection is incorrectly configured.
