This Kit is a 1 1/2" Spigot X 1 1/2" Slip Slice Gate Valve and Jacuzzi® J Style Pump Union with O-Ring that matches Union. The Valve receives a 1 1/2" pipe or fitting on one side that would measure 1 7/8" ID and then slips inside of a 1 1/2" fitting on the other side. It will slip inside of the pump union and glue and screw to a Jacuzzi® J Pump fitting. Don't be confused we also offer a slice valve with a heater union look at where it it attached in the spa if it is attached to the pump and the plumbing is 1 1/2" and the pump wet end threads are Beveled and 3"across then this part is correct.
CAUTION: The standard 2" Pump Union measures the same across the threads as this part but they are two different things this Union only fits a J Style Pump. This part the slice valve is used in hot tubs to stop the water so you could service the heater or the pump without draining the tub.
