HydroQuip temperature sensor used on the CS6100, CS7100, CS9400 and CS9600 VDS models manufactured prior to 5/2003. If your current sensor has any letter aside from K after the part number 34-0203, then this is not the correct sensor for your unit. This sensor has a 3/8" diameter bulb with a 10 foot cable and 4 pin 3 wire connector. Current versions may have a different wire layout or color coding, but are 100% compatible.
Symptoms of a temp sensor failure would be an inaccurate temperature display. If your panel displays 85 but the water is more like 104 then the sensor is bad.
