Waterway EX2 side discharge hot tub and spa pump with a 2 HP horsepower rating. This pump has been marketed as a 2.5 HP SPL which is the special uprated hp rating rather than the true running. This is why we recommend that you use your voltage and amperage to determine what the true horespower of your pump is.

This 48 frame pump assembly has 2" unions that will measure 3" across the male threads. You can adjust the discharge of this pump to one of three positions to match your plumbing. Made in the USA with high quality Viton seals for years of trouble free use.

This pump is a drop in replacement for the Aqua-Flo XP2 and XP2e and many other discontinued side discharge pumps.

IMPORTANT MOTOR VARIATION NOTICE

Due to ongoing changes in the hot tub pump industry since COVID, motor appearance and configuration may vary, even when the part number is the same. While the pump wet end will be correct, the motor may differ in areas such as capacitor location, labeling, or housing.

If you have a specific motor requirement (clearance, capacitor position, orientation, etc.), you must contact us before ordering so we can verify availability. Do not order first and contact us after delivery due to appearance differences.

Motor variations are outside of our control and may change week to week. Appearance differences do not constitute an incorrect item if specifications are met.
