This item is a Modified 2 1/2" Heater Union Tailpiece with a Pressure Switch Tap and Gasket that is used on may heater tubs that measure about 3" inside diameter of the tube..

It also has a 90 degree 1" Barb fitting..

This Union has had a Pressure Switch Tap added to it for use with the Retrofit Saratoga Heater that comes with no tap..
