Air Control Switches
Air control switches are pneumatic switches used in hot tubs and spas to activate
equipment such as air blowers pumps or lights without using electrical buttons.
These switches are commonly referred to as pneumatic air switches and are designed
for safe operation in wet spa environments.
Air control switches work by receiving air pressure from an air button through
pneumatic tubing. When the button is pressed the air pressure triggers the switch
which then sends an electrical signal to turn equipment on or off.
This category includes replacement pneumatic air control switches used in a wide
range of hot tub and spa models. Air control switches vary by voltage amperage
switching capacity and connection style.
Common symptoms of a failed air control switch include equipment not turning on
intermittent operation delayed response or failure to shut off. Moisture
intrusion age and internal wear are common causes of switch failure.
Proper identification is critical. Voltage and amperage ratings must match the
original switch exactly. Installing an incorrect switch can damage the control
system or connected equipment.
Before ordering verify the voltage rating and confirm the tubing connection style.
If the air button functions normally but the equipment does not activate the air
control switch may be the source of the problem.
If you are unsure which air control switch is correct for your spa do not guess.
Text clear photos of the existing switch and tubing connections and we will help
confirm the correct replacement before you order.
