XP2e 56 Frame

XP2e 56 Frame complete pump assemblies are the current energy-efficient, 2-speed jet pumps from Aqua-Flo (Gecko Alliance), built on a larger 56-frame motor platform for hot tub massage and circulation. These are sold as complete pump assemblies only (wet end + 56-frame motor fully integrated), providing high flow, quiet operation, lower energy use, and reliable performance without separate replaceable parts.

The XP2e is the modern replacement/upgrade for the older XP2 series (56-frame versions)—many spas with original XP2 pumps can use XP2e as a direct drop-in replacement for improved efficiency and longevity. Compatible with many spas using Aqua-Flo XP2/XP2e pumps (Sundance, Jacuzzi, Balboa-equipped, HydroQuip universals, and custom systems). Pumps feature threaded or union connections for easy installation and are ideal for jet systems requiring strong, efficient high-pressure performance.

XP2e 56 Frame assemblies vary by horsepower (2HP–4HP), voltage (115V/230V), speed (2-speed), discharge type (side), impeller configuration (high-flow), and spa-specific compatibility—precise matching ensures proper GPM flow, no cavitation, and correct plumbing fit (including for older XP2 setups).

Common problems include no flow from failed complete pumps (old XP2 or newer XP2e), leaks from worn internal seals (non-serviceable), noisy operation from bearing wear, weak jets from undersized pumps, air locks from loose unions, or overheating from restricted suction. Replacing with a complete XP2e 56-frame assembly restores powerful massage jets and efficient circulation, often as an upgrade from older XP2 models.

To select the right XP2e 56 Frame assembly (or for older XP2 compatibility):
- Identify your spa brand/model, year, pump type/location (jet pump 1/2), horsepower/speed/voltage, discharge type (side), and any XP2/XP2e model/markings on the existing pump.
- Note symptoms (no flow, leaks at pump, noisy/grinding, weak jets, overheating), or visible damage (cracked housing).
- Avoid guessing—send us clear photos of the pump (showing label/model, discharge side, connections/unions, plumbing, and spa label with model/serial number) for expert verification.
