Power Cords

Spa power cords are used to supply electrical power from an outlet or disconnect
to hot tubs spas and spa control systems. These cords are commonly found on
plug-and-play spas convertible 120V / 240V systems and certain control packs that
use corded power connections.

This category includes spa power cords plug assemblies and cord sets designed for
specific voltage amperage and plug configurations. Power cords vary by wire
gauge length plug type and electrical rating.

Spa power cords must be matched correctly to the spa’s voltage and amperage
requirements. Using an undersized or incorrect power cord can result in
overheating nuisance tripping or damage to electrical components.

Common symptoms of power cord failure include burned plugs melted insulation
intermittent power loss or failure to power the spa. These issues are often
caused by heat moisture corrosion or loose electrical connections.

Power cords are commonly used with GFCI-protected outlets and must be rated for
outdoor and wet-location use. Always verify compatibility with the spa control
system before replacement.
