Note: We recommend making a backer board to be used between the hot tub and the slider to protect the hot tub from things that could poke thought the slider and damage the tub.. We cut a piece of board out of a 3/4" piece of plywood 8' x 35 1/2" and glue gym mat material on one side.. This also protects the tub and makes it more rigid when moving up and down steps.. See the attached videos for examples if us using the Spa Slider..
