This part is a Run Capacitor that fits many 230V Pump Motors. When diagnosing pumps for a run capacitor concern you will find high amp draw, overheating, Noise and other concerns. This type of capacitor is really hard to dioagnose unless it is not holding a charge and it will require a special meter to test the capacitor for this function. Please Note: Most of the time the Capacitor is not the cause it is the symptom so don't expect this to solve your pump issue long term.
