Heater union tailpiece with 2" male butress thread (MBT) and 2" slip fitting for rigid or flex PVC. The male threaded portion of this tailpiece will measure 3" across and the inside diamter of the slip side measures 2-3/8". Once glued in place your heaters split nut union will screw onto this part, with the provided gasket sandwiched in between, creating a water tight seal when tightened. If you spas plumbing and heater are 2" this should be the part for you. If by chance your spas plumbing is 1.5" but your heater threads are 2" (3" across threads) then you can still use this part, just add a pvc reducer 2" - 1.5".
Can be used on most brand 2" heaters - Balboa, Gecko, ACC, HydroQuip, Chellenger, CTI, Len Gordon, Brett Aqualine and many more.
