This part is a 2 1/2" Thread X 1" 90 Degree Barb Heater Union.
The Union receives a 1" ID pipe on the barb side and then Screws to a 2 1/2'" Heater Flange using a 2 1/2" Nut on the heater side.
This part is used on Heaters that are found in Blue Ridge Spas, Gatsby Spas, Imperial Spas, Heartland Spas, White Springs Spas, Luxury Spas, Cimmaron Spas, Swiftriver Spas, Members Mark Spas, Outdoor Spas.
Don't be confused we also offer other 2 1/2" Heater unions that are 2 1/2" thread X 2"Slip or a 2 1/2" Thread X 2 1/2" Slip. If your plumbing is 1 1/2" and your heater is 2 1/2" this part is correct. This version is the least popular version. 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 is most popular and 2 1/2" X 2 is 2nd most popular.
This part is used in hot tubs to plumb to a 3" heater with a 2" flange. We have plenty of these.
This is a chart for the outside of your plumbing pipes so you can figure out what size parts to order. Note: The actual size a part is called is not the actual size of the hole in the part it is really the Inside Diameter of the pipe that would glue into that part which doesn’t make sense, since you cannot see inside the pipe. Therefore I am giving you the measurements of the outside of the pipe so you know what size part to order. For example a part that ½” plumbing would glue in to would actually measure ¾” inside the hole of the part and on the outside of the pipe that glues into the part.
