You are buying a 1 7/8" Center to Center O-Ring that fits 1 1/2" Heater Union that features a 1 7/8" groove. The O-Ring is 1 7/8" center to center and fits most 1 1/2" heater unions but there are exceptions which normally would be a 2 1/8" center to center and we offer those in our store as well as an 1 7/8" O-Ring style gasket so please see the pictures and compare. This part is used in hot tubs between a heater union and the heater.
