Durable Titanium 5.5 KW (5500 Watt) Heating Element with hardware. Our Titanium Flo-Thru design is a proven performer that provides maximum corrosion protection for even the harshest water environments. With a length of 10" and a terminal spacing of 1-1/4" this element can be used as a universal replacement for many brands of heaters such as Balboa M7, HydroQuip, Gecko, Brett Aqualine, Len Gordon, ACC and more. Includes mounting hardware and o-rings. This element can also be used in 115 Volt spas to provide 1.5 KW (1500 Watt) of heating.

The most common failure of heater elements is a tripping breaker. If you disconnect the two terminals going to this heater and your spa runs and no longer trips, then this part is more than likely the cuplprit. Another failure is that they simply no longer heat your water - If you have no error codes (FLO, 3 dots, LF etc) you can use a volt meter to test for continuity across the element terminals. You should get about 10.4-11.4 ohms for a good element and zero for a bad or open element. If no continuity change the element, if you do, then you will need to look elsewhere like a circuit board issue.
