Balboa VS501Z circuit board replacement that supports (1) 2 speed pump, a single speed pump or blower, ozonator, 12 volt light, circulation pump and hot plug (stereo). This versatile board is convertible to 115 Volt or 230 Volt for the incoming power as well as each component circuit. The topside control that plugs to this board has an 8 pin RJ45 network style connector. Can be used to replace many oem versions and is the primary replacement for the discontinued VS500Z.

As of 2024 new VS501 circuit boards will come with the plug and click female heater adapter installed. It can be removed and you reuse your old wiring or see the other male end of the adapter for your heater here: Balboa BP Plug and Click Male Heater Power Wire Adapter, Quick Disconnect

Pro Tips: To change the voltage of a circuit to 110/115 Volt you will need to move its white wire to any prong in the White AC bank. For a 220/230 Volt circuit you will move the white wire to the Red AC bank. In most cases if you just match the position of the white wires to your old board, you will get the voltages correct. To enable the circ pump option you will need to move dip switch # 5 and/or 9. The circ pump and ozonator need to be the same voltage on this board as they share a relay.
