Air Control Valves
Air control valves are used in hot tubs and spas to regulate the amount of air
mixed into the water stream feeding spa jets. By opening or closing the valve,
users can increase or decrease bubbling and jet intensity.
These valves are commonly installed on the spa shell and connected to air
plumbing that feeds venturi systems or air injectors. Air control valves operate
manually and do not use electrical power.
This category includes replacement air control valves and related components used
in a wide range of hot tub and spa models. Air control valves vary by mounting
style body size plumbing connection and control design.
Common reasons for replacement include cracked housings seized or stuck valves
air leaks reduced air draw or broken control knobs. Chemical exposure UV damage
and normal wear can cause air control valves to fail over time.
Proper identification is important to ensure correct fit and function. Installing
the wrong valve can restrict airflow or prevent proper jet performance.
Before ordering verify the valve style mounting size and plumbing connection used
in your spa. If the valve turns freely but does not change air output the issue
may be a disconnected or damaged air line.
If you are unsure which air control valve is correct for your spa do not guess.
