This part is a 90 degree slide on glue in style 1" slip adapter fitting. This fitting slides onto a 1" air control valve before you glue any plumbing to the bottom of the valve and then it gives you a 1" slip fitting on the side in a 90 degree fashion.. On the side you can glue in a glue 1" pipe that measures about 1 1/4" Outside Diameter and then glue other pipes or manifolds on the bottom of the valve.. This fitting is also used in some tubs to tie the air system to a blower system..
