This part is a Set of (2) 2" Pump Union Split Nut Repair Kit which includes the split nut and (2) Screws for use with a 2" Pump Union.

Special Note: This Nut will not work on J-Pump Wet Ends or Hayward Wet Ends.. 

The Pump Union Split Nut that measures about 3" on the Inside of the Threaded Part and mounts to the existing Pump Union Body using 2 screws to hold it in place.

This Split Nut measures about 2 3/4" ID of the part that mounts on the old Pump Union holding flange and screws onto the pump threads with a gasket between the union and pump.

If your pump union plumbing is 1 1/2" or 2" and your pump Threads are 2" (Meaning the Threaded Part measures about 3" Across) this part is correct. This version is the most popular version.

This part is used in hot tubs to do an emergency pump union repair instead of replacing the pump union and all other glued in parts.

To install this repair kit you will have to remove the old broken pump union flange nut. This nut can be cut off with a hack saw blade or some cutting pliers if the nut is split enough.

Be careful not to cut the pump union..
